Hi and welcome!

My name is Beka and I am a live illustrator, performer and maker based in the North of England.

My work can be described by the term ‘live illustration’, which includes (but is not limited to) live drawing or graphic recording (also known as ‘scribing‘), 2D and 3D illustration, installation and live performance. My work often combines illustration, interactive performance and open source technology in surprising ways.

I also work as a multi disciplinary artist in the often underestimated outdoor arts sector. I am passionate about making work for public spaces, often creating ephemeral, interactive pieces that appear in unusual locations and appeal to audiences of all ages and nationalities.
